FACELESSWhen the freedoms and uniqueness of Hong Kong are threatened by a proposed extradition bill, protesters, using a range of resourcefulness and creativity, come together to defend their city and their beliefs.
Faceless, a testament to the power of unity and the value of community, is a documentary by first-time director Jennifer Ngo. The film intimately portrays four young Hong Kong protestors as they move through the frontlines of the pro-democracy movement in their city.
I was honored to consult and provid additional editing for this film produced by Lorraine Ma and edited by Sam Rong. Faceless had its premiere at the 2021 Hot Docs Canadian International Film Festival and will be distributed worldwide by Dogwoof.
a feature-length documentary directed by Andrea Nevins, shares the points of
views and experiences of 15 groundbreaking female comics as they maneuver the
world of standup comedy, traditionally a male stomping ground but that is now
increasingly becoming a popular female space. The film examines the history and
long-standing barriers of the art form, focusing in on how in a post #MeToo
world, more and more women are smashing the glass ceiling with arena size
success. I had the great pleasure of being one of two editors on this
documentary, which premiered at SXSW 2021, aired on FX, and is currently
streaming on HULU.

WHERE’S MY ROY COHN
The feature-length documentary directed by Matt Tyrnauer tells the story of Roy Cohn, the notorious New York fixer and one-time lawyer and mentor to Donald J. Trump. An ever shifting chameleon of contradictions, Roy Cohn was able to read people faster than they could read him and get his way as a result. Both repulsive and mesmerizing, he was always something different from what people expected him to be. The film includes never before heard audio tapes of Roy Cohn by journalist Ken Auletta. Where's my Roy Cohn premiered at the 2019 Sundance Film Festival and was released theatrically by Sony Picture Classics fall 2019.
