Faceless, a testament to the power of unity and the value of community, is a documentary by first-time director Jennifer Ngo. The film intimately portrays four young Hong Kong protestors as they move through the frontlines of the pro-democracy movement in their city. I was honored to consult and provide additional editing for this film produced by Lorraine Ma and edited by Sam Rong. The film examines the history and long-standing barriers of the art form, focusing in on how in a post #MeToo world, more and more women are smashing the glass ceiling with arena-size success. I had the great pleasure of being one of two editors on this documentary, which premiered at SXSW 2021, aired on FX, and is currently streaming on HULU.
